Went for a quick bite to dinner and had a wonderful time. Started with a large draft beer served in a frozen margarita glass along with some of the house chips. The fries were superior but both were awesome for munching. Had the mushroom and swiss burger which was great but not as great as just the standard cheeseburger. The prices are beyond reasonable and the shakes/ice cream for after are delicious as well. Check this spot out.
We've only eaten at the location in Burleson, but food here is just as good! Corn nuggets and onion rings are so good! I really like the jalapeno ketchup. Burger is not skimpy! Thick with lots of toppings and cooked perfectly. Lots of room at this location.
A pretty good burger. Voted best burger in 2019. You order at the counter and they bring your fresh made burger to your table. They also have complimentary peanuts while you wait for your burger to be cooked. Prices are reasonable. Burger meat had a good flavor and had that homemade burger look. Definitely better than a Whataburger. Restaurant has a laid back warehouse feel. They also have a good selection of beer. Our lunch tab for two burgers, fries, and two iced teas was 30 after a 20% tip. This would be a good place to hang out, have some good burgers, fries and maybe a beer or two.
We were pleasantly surprised with how good the burgers tasted. We also had fries, onion rings, and tried the corn nuggets. They were DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be going back!
Came here while visiting Cleburne to see a play. The ratings are good, but sometimes you don't know if that is due to a place being a "local favorite" but not quite generally appealing. We were very pleasantly surprised by Grumps, though! It has a spacious pleasant interior with lots of seating. The service is very nice and attentive, the beer was ice cold, and the burgers were great! Sorry, I took my pic after eating half the burger. Onion rings highly recommended!
Grumps in Cleburne is the 4th of their restaurants I've been to and my first visit at this location. The food is just as delicious as their other locations, and same as the Glen Rose location I visited last week, great service, friendly staff, and rustic Texas building & interior. Gotta get a t shirt next time.
Just came into town for my friend's wedding and we wanted to try some food nearby and I said let's go try this spot out I love burger spots especially ones that look like they're locally owned and taken care of like Mom and Pop. They were super friendly took our order really quick and fast we had to wait a little bit for our food but it came out so fresh and hot. I got the barbecue bacon cheeseburger and it was so good and my friend got just a bacon cheeseburger I also ordered sweet potato fries and those were delightful what a side order of ranch and they have jalapeno ketchup that was pretty good. Restrooms were very clean they were cleaning them as I was in there which was even nicer All around would definitely come back.
Excellent service. They checked on us several times to make sure everything tasted good and see if we needed anything. Very friendly. I can't say enough that the burgers were great!! If you are in this area, I highly recommend you eat here!!
